Wow, time flies. Here we are at the end of another year. I look back and wonder, what did I do all year? Of course, that comes back to what did I not do this year.
So, after those thoughts, I decided to try something new, something I've never really been very good at but felt the need to try again. I have a favorite actor and, when I write for a particular story, I use him as reference because he has a great look. I've never really found the right digital representation of him so I couldn't really get very creative in representing moments of the story like I'd wanted to do so many times. Last night, I set out to try again.
There are still some tweaks I feel are necessary but the response by my writing partner was very positive. She knew who it was the moment she saw him. This makes me happy.
So, I'm going to tweak a little here and there, get real happy with the results and then you may see it pop up in my gallery.

Life is just ... WOW
Recently I went in for a routine surgery as a precaution since we discovered I had a growth on my Thyroid. No big deal, right? We all figured it was benign because the biopsy did not return a classic cancer cell. It did return cells that can occur either in goiter or cancer.
As luck would have it, I got the Big C reported on the pathology finding. Woo. Go me!
So now I'm looking at another surgical consult early next week and another surgery to remove the remaining part of my Thyroid. And just to be safe, I'm told we may even do some radioactive iodine.
Ye-haw.
::sigh::
So, I may still be out for a while depending on when the surgery act
Away for a bit
Just as a quick FYI, I am going to be away for a couple of weeks. I am going to have surgery in the next couple of weeks and do not know how up to artwork or even sitting up to drift through favorites I will be.
I may be here, may not. We'll take it one day at a time.
Thanks for watching, thanks for favoriting.
New stuff later.
Time away
Soo, I took a tumble today. Nothing is broken but my dominant wrist is, according to the ER, 'severely strained'.
All I know is that I cannot type quickly. Pain is too intense. The ER said take ibuprofen for pain. Yeah, sure. Doesn't work. FML.
I'll be back in a few days.
Real Life
Some admission here..
I've been down on myself lately because I have been unable to get into shape. My frame should not support much over a buck 75. For much of my life, I've been closer to 300, averaged at 250. I've tried working out, walking, running, dieting. One step forward, five backward.
Lately, been doing lifestyle changes instead of focusing on that 'goal' weight by watching my junk food by not buying it, switching to water instead of soda, if I have to snack do it on veggies (ugh).
Pleased to say, I broke the 200 mark. I can walk without being winded and I can climb stairs without feeling like passing out.
Not sure what the goal
