This was my worst year yet but it is turning out to be ending as my best year yet.
That aside, I've been able to grow in my artwork and learn more about DAZ Studio. I've made friends offline and I've made several friends online. Each and every follower I have is precious to me and I hope to never disappoint.
I'm focusing more on a place I call the Verse. It's a vast setting for storytelling of the sci-fi/western and many things in between. I've made some characters and sprinkled them in and among the other images I produce. It thrills me that so many seem to enjoy them as much as myself and my writing partner.
I haven't forgotten the fantasy or fantastical. That's just on the back burner for a while.
Your feedback is important to me and I'd love to hear your opinions on what you'd like to see me try my hand at creating.
Thank you for watching. Thank you for taking the time to favorite my artwork. And most of all, thank you for just being there.

Life is just ... WOW
Recently I went in for a routine surgery as a precaution since we discovered I had a growth on my Thyroid. No big deal, right? We all figured it was benign because the biopsy did not return a classic cancer cell. It did return cells that can occur either in goiter or cancer.
As luck would have it, I got the Big C reported on the pathology finding. Woo. Go me!
So now I'm looking at another surgical consult early next week and another surgery to remove the remaining part of my Thyroid. And just to be safe, I'm told we may even do some radioactive iodine.
Ye-haw.
::sigh::
So, I may still be out for a while depending on when the surgery act
Away for a bit
Just as a quick FYI, I am going to be away for a couple of weeks. I am going to have surgery in the next couple of weeks and do not know how up to artwork or even sitting up to drift through favorites I will be.
I may be here, may not. We'll take it one day at a time.
Thanks for watching, thanks for favoriting.
New stuff later.
Time away
Soo, I took a tumble today. Nothing is broken but my dominant wrist is, according to the ER, 'severely strained'.
All I know is that I cannot type quickly. Pain is too intense. The ER said take ibuprofen for pain. Yeah, sure. Doesn't work. FML.
I'll be back in a few days.
Real Life
Some admission here..
I've been down on myself lately because I have been unable to get into shape. My frame should not support much over a buck 75. For much of my life, I've been closer to 300, averaged at 250. I've tried working out, walking, running, dieting. One step forward, five backward.
Lately, been doing lifestyle changes instead of focusing on that 'goal' weight by watching my junk food by not buying it, switching to water instead of soda, if I have to snack do it on veggies (ugh).
Pleased to say, I broke the 200 mark. I can walk without being winded and I can climb stairs without feeling like passing out.
Not sure what the goal
